ALERT: Vote Against Amendment One, And Support North Carolina Families & LGBT Equality!

Today, North Carolinians head to the polls to vote on Amendment One, which if passed would restrict marriage to straight couples. We encourage fellow Christians and other North Carolinian’s to vote against Amendment One and stand supportively with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender families.

“There have been some loving things said by many in the Christian community during this campaign. But others, like Rev. Sean Harris of Berean Baptist Church, Fayettsville, NC have said some harmful things about LGBT people and children’s perceived gender roles,” said Gwen Ashby, Associate Director, Believe Out Loud

“This election is important, and we would like to let the people of Berean Baptist Church and all North Carolina Christians know that they can be Christian and love their gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender children,” she said.
