UCC Coalition For LGBT Concerns: National Gathering 2012
Believe Out Loud
There are over 1,000 open and affirming Christian congregations in the United States. Open and affirming congregations offer Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) people full inclusion in their churches. The United Church of Christ is leading the way in open and affirming congregations with its 275,000 members. The UCC Coalition For LGBT Concerns supports the UCC by providing support and sanctuary for LGBT members.
The Coalition is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year with the National Gathering 2012. It will be held at Elmhurst College June 25th-28th. At the National Gathering there will be key note speakers and preachers from UCC churches across the country. There will also be workshops, panels, worship and other activities.
The coalition hopes to “honor 40 years of prophecy, celebrate our legacy, and prepare for the next 40 years of possibility.”
Please consider coming to the National Gathering. You can register here.
