We Have Faith: LGBT Clergy and People of Faith Speak Out
By Peggy Gillespie, Co-Founder, Family Diversity Projects
We Have Faith: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Clergy and People of Faith Speak Out, a museum quality traveling exhibit, is in previews starting during PRIDE and is already booking up in churches, synagogues, schools, universities, and libraries beyond the fall premier venues in New York, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Washington D.C., and San Francisco.
“Love Makes a Family was viewed by hundreds of thousands of people so we knew that photographs of LGBT and allied faith leaders who are activists for LGBT equality would be a powerful sign of hope,” said Peggy Gillespie, co-founder of Family Diversity Projects. “The previews in Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, D.C. and Provincetown begin in July. Every house of worship, seminary, college and religious convention can show this exhibit and help break the stereotype that people of faith are all anti-LGBT.”
