Religious Leaders Support Marriage Equality in Washington
Religious leaders, including Rev. Sandford Brown of the First United Methodist Church in Seattle, support marriage equality in an ad recently put out by Washington United for Marriage.
In the ad, the leaders show their support for Referendum 74 saying that it not only protects religious freedoms, but allows committed loving couples to get married.
“It’s not for us to judge,” says Rev. David Strong of the First Congregational Church in Tacoma. Friar Cuesta follows by saying, “We’re all God’s children”.
