Could one of these men be the next Pope?

Four pro-LGBT Christian organizations have reacted to Pope Benedict XIV impending resignation. While the Pope suggests traditional Catholic theology is challenged by “rapid changes” in society, Catholics understanding of “family values” is also being challenged to include LGBT families.

Last Wednesday, the Boy Scouts of America postponed a vote on gay membership. Dr. Michael Adee reacted to the news.

Does the Black Church have a sex problem? Rev. Cedric Harmon thinks so.

As President Obama’s comprehensive immigration proposal is being discussed, Catholic opposition has centered on the inclusion of LGBT families. Melissa Harris-Perry recently discussed the definition of “family” and human dignity in the immigration debate on her MSNBC show.

An Indiana high school disavowed a harmful campaign to create a Gay-free prom. The school’s special ed teacher defamed her gay students while leading the effort, which has attracted national criticism.

Lastly, Broadway Producer Carl White wrote this beautiful reflection about his new rock musical BARE. This Romeo and Juliet themed gay, Catholic love story discusses the consequences of denying love.
